Tigers Take Down a Braves Lineup, Filled With Up and Coming Stars, 6-3.

The Tigers started out like a house of fire led by starter Francisco Liriano. Liriano looked impressive in his 2nd start in the Grapefruit League as he struck out 4 and walked two in his three scoreless inning effort.

The scoring was led off by Victor Martinez who poked a solo shot out to Left in the bottom of the 2nd. The veteran DH has a great start to his spring training stroking two homers from both sides of the plate so far.

In the third, a slew of hits set up a bases-loaded situation for Miguel Cabrera and Miggy didn’t disappoint. He hooked a double down the left field line that raked in the eventual game-winning 3 RBIs. James McCann also had an RBI Single in the bottom of the 5th, and the final source of Tigers runs came off of an inside the park home run that ricocheted off the right-center wall.

  • Victor Martinez hits his 4th home run of the Spring to LF
