The Tigers haven’t found much success on the west coast this season as they are now 8-22 against west coast teams with the final from tonight’s game, San Diego Padres 7 Detroit Tigers 3.

The Tigers seem to be at a loss both on offense and defense. After losing two games to one of the worst teams in all of baseball and 8 in a row, it’s unclear what an easy solution is for this disaster of a team.

Tonight, starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez went 6 innings, allowed 2 earned runs, and had 4 strike outs.

Andrew Romine had a burst of hope which was a short lived glimmer that they’d end this losing skid. Romine went 2 for 4  and had 2 RBI’S.

It’s been a frustrating couple weeks for Detroit Tigers fans. Tomorrow they will try to salvage a game in the series.

Your starters for tomorrow’s matchup, Jordan Zimmerman is 5-5 with an era of 5.25 will be going against Clayton Richard 5-7 with an era of 4.20. The game starts at 4:40 pm.
