The Detroit Tigers and New York Yankees matchup for game two of a four-game set in the Bronx.
After winning game one in come back fashion, and using the long ball to do hit by hitting five in the game with two of them coming off the bat of Victor Martinez.
The Tigers will now turn to Jordan Zimmerman to try and make it two in a row against the team with the most homers this season, while on the other hand, the Tigers will face Ace Luis Severino who when he faced the Tigers in Detroit held them to two runs, one earned over eight innings. Severino has only gotten better sitting at 17 wins which is the most he’s ever totaled.
If the Tigers hope to win they will need to have hits from everyone as well as outhit the Yankees for the second straight night which will be a tough task.
The Tigers have activated Blaine Hardy from the 10-day disabled list.
