Petr Mrazek. The name that was all around the 2014-15 and early 2015-16 as the next elite goalie in the Red Wings franchise.

Shift to the 2016-17 season and Mrazek had his worse season to date in any league. His GAA was 3.00 and his save percentage 9.01 , not NHL standard. Then at the end we all heard the attitude issues and how it left him exposed in the NHL expansion Draft.

Now once the biggest prospect in the franchise might be the biggest dud. His market on the trade block is sadly low and he only has one year left on his 2 year contract.

Hopefully Mrazek can bring back to his early form and play stellar to earn another contract and get his wings to the playoffs again, or he is down the drain and will need a way to pick back up with a new franchise.

We all want him to succeed and we seen it before, let’s see it again.

I say keep Mrazek he is better then Jimmy Ken Holland has an attitude issues too and they haven’t gotten rid of him I say Ken needs to go he’s Brad’s twin he should work with Petr sit down and talk to him and ask him what the problem is and see about fixing the problem trading is not the answer

I think thats exactly what the Wings need and have been missing. The good Goalies usually arent wound to tight and have attitudes problems is putting it lightly lol
