Well here we are at the all star break and the Tigers are (39-48). Tigers are in 4th place in the central and 8 games back from the first place  Indians.

A lot of talks have been swirling around who is going to get traded where and when it’s going to happen but only time will tell when it’s going to happen though.  From that being said I am going to give you your midseason grades for your Detroit Tigers.

Justin Verlander- C. Justin Verlnder is having a  alright year which he’s been up-and-down all year so far. Justin is (5-6) with a 4.73 ERA  his command is hurting him a lot this year which why his walk are up and his strike outs are down even though his velocity is there.

J.D Martinez- B+.  JD is really having a nice year after starting out on the injured list coming into the season. JD is batting .299 with 14 HR and 32 RBI.  There is a lot of talk about him being traded even though he is still giving quality at bats and playing this all out in left field.

James McCann-D.  James McCann has been a disappointment this year he started out hot by hitting five home runs in the month of April.  McCann then begin to struggle really bad only hitting  .209 for average and 9 HR with 25 RBI   McCann playing time have drop a lot mainly because of red hot Alex Avila.

Justin Upton-B.  Justin Upton is having a great first half with  .256 avg and 15 HR with 54 RBI.  Justin is on his way to have a career year with the Detroit Tigers it seems like he finally found his groove back in the American League which got him in the ALL Star game this year.

Michael Fulmer- A.  Michael Fulmer is having a wonderful first half with his second full year with the Detroit Tigers. Michael is 9-6 with a 3.19 ERA and 84 strike outs. Michael is enjoying himself being a Detroit Tiger winning games when it counts the most and Michael is also a ALL Star this year.
