There is no bigger Starting Quarterback Competition than in Ann Arbor MI, Further more It’s a great problem to have. A problem any Collegiate Head coach would love to have. I’m sure Harbaugh is in heaven having 3 Top ranked Quarterbacks at his disposal. No question any of Michigan’s 3 signal callers could end up the starter.

No Doubt it’s Wilton Speight’s Job to lose after a pretty good 2016 season. Speight seen little playing time before taking over the Starting roll when the 5th yr Senior Jake Rudock departed for the NFL.

Wilton Speight is a 22 year old Junior out of Richmond Virginia, believe it or not is litterally fighting for his starting role since camp broke. One would think it’s rightfully Wilton’s job after the 2016 season Speight had. Wrong! Not on Jim Harbaugh’s squad, as I stated before Jim has always Loved a good competition and this one is getting hot. In 2016 Wilton Speight lead the Wolverines to a respectable 10-3 record, and completed 192 passes out 318 Attempts throwing for 2,448 yards (153 ypg) 18 Touchdowns and only 7 Interceptions for a QBR of 139.3.

Let’s take a look into the Senior John O’korn the University of Houston’s transfer out of Ft. Lauderdale Florida. Speight’s Back up from the 2016 season. O’korn seen limited play time with U of M, Throwing for 200 yards and 2 Touchdowns. Now if we combine the Seniors entire Collegiate career including with the University of Houston. O’korn completed 369 passes of 653 attempts, reining in 4,241 yards (157.1 YPG) 36 Touchdowns and 18 Interceptions, John holds a 123.7 Quarterback Rating. Not bad minus the 18 Interceptions, so the potential talent is there folks.

Michigan’s 3rd option is a 19 year old 4 star recruit True Freshman out of Avon Indiana. Michigan fan’s should probably get used to the name Brandon Peters, As he is without question the Wolverines future. This kid is a stud and the best part, Brandon has it All. At 6′ 4″ and 209 pound’s, makes him a perfect fit for Harbaugh’s pro style offensive mindset, But most importantly good old Michigan Football Ladies and Gentlemen.

Peters High School Numbers are 2nd to none in my opinion. Brandon Peters passed for 6,843 yards 79 psssing, Touchdowns 17 Interceptions and 377 Rushing yards with 14 Rushing touchdowns for Avon High School. Brandon Peters Lead his High school to a 2015 State Regional Championship. Brandon Peters was named Gatorade Player of the Year award, Along with being named Avon Indiana’s player of the year award.

With nearly perfect vision over any defense , speed and athleticism, the Accuracy is off the charts and oh by the way he has a cannon. ESPN Ranked Peters at #5 in the 2016 class of recruited Quarterbacks and had Brandon at 60th overall in ESPN Top 300 players in the nation. I have no doubts if not this season by next season Brandon will be Michigan’s man for the next 3-4 years. Harbaugh has been quoted comparing Brandon Peters to Indianapolis Colts Franchise Quarterback Andrew Luck.

I’d say Jim Harbaugh has a very tough decision to make, with little time I might add. With the Season opener approaching fast. When Michigan going Heads up With the Florida Gators on September 2nd to be exact. I trust Jim Will make the best decision and may best Quarterback win.
