The Detroit Lions announced this afternoon they have waived DE Anthony Zettel and claimed DE Romeo Okwara off the waivers from the Giants.
Lions have been awarded DE Romeo Okwara via waivers from the New York Giants.
To make room, the team waived DE Anthony Zettel.

Romeo Okwara played four years at Notre Dame recording 112 tackles (60 of them were solo) and 12.5 sacks. In 2016, Okwara signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent. His rookie year he played in 16 games (four starts), recording 12 total tackles and 1.0 sack. In 2017, Okwara played in 6 games with 1.0 tackle.
