The Detroit Lions have made some moves Wednesday afternoon as they waived TE DeAndre Goolsby and added LB Trevor Bates from the Patriots practice squad.

He later was released by the Colts after being picked up by Patriots and Giants and placed on their practice squad / offseason roster for a limited time only.
Trevor Bates only played in one regular season game with the Colts in 2016 as he entered 22 special team snaps with no statistics recorded.
Bates played for the University of Maine from 2012-15 and appeared in 26 games, recording 2017 tackles. In 2014, he recorded 60 tackles, 5.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 3 interceptions as he was named the teams MVP.
