The Detroit Tigers have finally ended their long 8 game losing streak after winning the final game against the San Diego Padres. Your final score, Detroit Tigers 7, San Diego Padres 5, this win gives Tigers fans something to be positive about!

Tigers starting pitcher Jordan Zimmerman didn’t have the best stuff today, but the offense backed him up. Zimmerman went 4 innings allowing 6 hits 5 earned runs, to go along with 5 strike outs. The rest of the bullpen today shut down the door, Bruce Rondon got the win. Justin Wilson picked up the save with a 1,2,3 9th inning.

The Tigers next will be playing the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday, they have Monday off.
